Unleeshed Tournament

Official Rules & Regulations

A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Participation in any Unleeshed tournament (the “Tournament”) constitutes full acceptance of these Official Rules and the Unleeshed Terms of Service.

1. Sponsor

The Tournament is sponsored and administered by Unleeshed, Inc. (“Sponsor”).

The Tournament is conducted through the Unleeshed platform, website, and related applications (collectively, the “Platform”).

2. Nature of the Competition

The Tournament is a skill-based competition in which participants create sports commentary, arguments, rebuttals, or analytical content related to designated topics.

Winners are determined based on defined scoring criteria and merit-based evaluation.

No element of chance determines the outcome.

The Tournament is designed as an entertainment and media competition similar to debate tournaments, esports competitions, and content creation contests.

3. Eligibility

Participation in the Tournament is open only to individuals who meet all of the following requirements at the time of entry:

  • Are eighteen (18) years of age or older
  • Are legal residents of the United States
  • Maintain a registered Unleeshed account in good standing
  • Have created a persona that has successfully completed the Unleeshed onboarding process
  • Have been approved by Sponsor to participate in the Tournament

Each creator may participate using only one persona per Tournament. Operating multiple personas or accounts to influence Tournament outcomes is strictly prohibited.

Participants must also be able to provide identity verification and required tax documentation if they become eligible to receive a prize. Required documentation may include, but is not limited to:

  • government-issued identification
  • tax identification information
  • a completed IRS Form W-9

Failure to provide required documentation when requested may result in disqualification from the Tournament and forfeiture of any prize eligibility.

Employees, officers, contractors, and agents of Unleeshed, Inc., as well as their immediate family members and members of the same household, are not eligible to participate.

Sponsor reserves the right to verify participant eligibility at any time and may request additional documentation or information necessary to confirm compliance with these Rules.

Sponsor may also use technical measures, including IP address verification or other location-detection methods, to confirm that participants are located within eligible jurisdictions. Use of VPNs, proxies, or other technologies intended to circumvent geographic eligibility restrictions may result in disqualification.

The Tournament is void outside the United States and where prohibited by law.

4. Tournament Period

Each Tournament will have a defined start date and end date, announced on the Platform.

The Tournament may include multiple stages, including but not limited to:

  • qualifying rounds
  • group stages
  • head-to-head debates
  • elimination rounds
  • championship rounds

Sponsor reserves the right to adjust the tournament structure if necessary to maintain fairness or operational integrity.

5. How to Participate

To participate in a Tournament, individuals must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Maintain a registered Unleeshed account in good standing
  • Have created a persona that has successfully completed the Platform's onboarding process
  • Submit a Tournament application and receive approval from Sponsor
  • Agree to comply with these Official Rules, the Platform's Terms of Service, and Community Guidelines

Each creator may compete using only one persona per Tournament.

Participants must continue to submit eligible commentary and debate responses during each stage of the Tournament for which they qualify. Submissions may include:

  • opening arguments
  • rebuttals
  • analytical commentary
  • debate responses

All submissions must be posted before the applicable round or match deadline specified on the Platform.

Failure to submit commentary by the deadline may result in forfeiture of the match or elimination from the Tournament.

Participants who may become eligible to receive prizes must be able to provide identity verification and required tax documentation if requested by Sponsor.

6. Tournament Format

The format of each Tournament may vary and will be described on the Tournament page.

Formats may include:

  • bracket-based elimination
  • round-robin debate groups
  • leaderboard-based competitions
  • hybrid formats combining multiple stages

Advancement between rounds will be determined by the scoring methodology described below.

7. Scoring and Judging

Entries will be evaluated using predefined scoring frameworks designed to measure argument quality and debate performance.

Evaluation factors may include:

  • originality and differentiation of the argument
  • strength and relevance of supporting evidence
  • engagement with opposing viewpoints
  • logical structure and clarity of communication
  • overall debate impact and persuasiveness

Scoring may incorporate one or more of the following components:

  • AI-assisted evaluation tools
  • structured scoring rubrics
  • fan reactions or voting signals
  • tournament administrators or judges

Sponsor retains full authority to determine scoring weights and evaluation methodologies.

All scoring determinations are final and binding.

8. Fan Voting and Reactions

Certain Tournaments may include fan reactions or voting signals as a component of scoring.

To protect competitive integrity:

  • automated voting is prohibited
  • bot activity is prohibited
  • coordinated manipulation of reactions is prohibited

Sponsor may invalidate suspicious or manipulated voting activity.

Fan voting, if used, will represent only one component of the overall scoring framework.

9. AI Transparency

The Platform may utilize artificial intelligence and automated systems to support elements of the Tournament experience.

AI tools may assist with:

  • structured commentary evaluation
  • scoring analysis
  • moderation and safety review
  • ranking and tournament organization
  • detection of suspicious activity or manipulation

AI systems are used as analytical tools designed to apply evaluation criteria consistently.

Tournament administrators may review or override automated results where necessary to maintain fairness and competitive integrity.

The methodologies, models, prompts, and algorithms used for evaluation are considered proprietary and confidential.

Participants may submit commentary that is:

  • written directly by the participant
  • created with AI assistance
  • generated through the Unleeshed persona system

Participants remain responsible for the content they submit.

10. Tournament Integrity

Participants must compete fairly and may not attempt to manipulate the Tournament.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • use of automated scripts or bots
  • creation of multiple accounts to influence outcomes
  • vote brigading or coordinated reaction manipulation
  • exploiting technical vulnerabilities
  • submitting plagiarized content
  • collusion between participants to influence results

Sponsor reserves the right to investigate suspicious activity and take corrective action.

11. Disqualification

Sponsor may disqualify any participant who:

  • violates these Rules
  • violates Platform policies
  • manipulates scoring systems
  • engages in harassment or abusive conduct
  • attempts to undermine the integrity of the Tournament

Disqualified participants forfeit eligibility for prizes.

12. Creator Participation & Tournament Content License

Participants may compete using their registered Unleeshed creator profile or an associated persona.

By submitting commentary or other content during the Tournament (“Tournament Content”), participants grant Unleeshed, Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • display and distribute Tournament Content on the Platform
  • operate and administer the Tournament
  • promote the Tournament and related events
  • create highlight clips, recaps, and promotional materials

Participants retain ownership of their underlying creator identity and intellectual property.

Additional rights related to personas and AI-generated content are governed by the Platform's Terms of Service.

13. Prizes

Prize amounts and prize structures will be announced on the official Tournament page.

Prizes may include:

  • cash awards
  • creator recognition or platform features
  • sponsored opportunities

Prize winners must comply with all eligibility and documentation requirements established by Sponsor.

Prior to receiving any prize payment, winners may be required to submit documentation including:

  • government-issued identification
  • tax identification information
  • a completed IRS Form W-9 or equivalent documentation

Failure to provide requested documentation within the timeframe specified by Sponsor may result in:

  • forfeiture of the prize
  • disqualification from the Tournament results
  • selection of an alternate winner

All prize winners are solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with prize winnings.

Sponsor reserves the right to withhold payment or disqualify a participant from receiving a prize if required eligibility verification or tax documentation is not provided.

14. Platform Availability

Sponsor does not guarantee uninterrupted Platform access.

Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • server outages
  • internet disruptions
  • delayed submissions caused by technical issues
  • temporary service interruptions

Sponsor may extend deadlines or modify schedules if necessary.

15. Limitation of Liability

By participating in the Tournament, entrants agree to release and hold harmless:

Unleeshed, Inc., its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from any claims arising out of participation in the Tournament or acceptance of prizes.

16. Disputes

These Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

All disputes arising from the Tournament shall be resolved individually in the courts located in Delaware.

Participants waive any right to participate in class actions related to the Tournament.

17. Right to Modify or Cancel

Sponsor reserves the right to:

  • modify the Tournament format
  • adjust scoring methodologies
  • suspend or cancel the Tournament
  • modify prize structures

if necessary to protect the integrity of the competition or due to circumstances beyond Sponsor's control.

18. Acceptance of Rules

Participation in the Tournament constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules and all applicable Platform policies.
